After the testing and race-demonstration phase, the (standard) CV joints of the drive shafts were found to be at the end of their service life.
New, stronger CV joints were acquired, new intermediate shafts were produced, and the drive shafts were assembled and installed in the car.
The upgraded drive shafts will be strong enough to withstand the increased torque level of the supercharged engine.
