Ferron bv has designed and developed lightweight panels and panelled constructions in high strength anodised aluminium, with Nomex® honeycomb cores, fully riveted and bonded.
Aluminium/Nomex® sandwich panels of 20 mm thickness (we call them 20N panels) are based on square and rectangular aluminium tubes, and can be executed with aluminium sheets of 1 or 2 mm thickness, or with profiled anti-slip sheets. Ferron has developed an effective system to connect panels to each other at right angles, and dismountable connectors to feed point loads into the panel structure.
