HAND BRAKE SYSTEM FINALIZED

The hand brake has been assembled and mounted in the car. The assembly is made of anodised aluminium and stainless steel components. Heavy duty cables connect the assembly with the two individual brake callipers at the rear wheels. For more information, contact us at info@silvermine.nl

ENGINE TESTS STARTED

For preparation of engine starting tests, oscilloscope readings have been taken of the crankshaft and cam sensors mounted on the engine. The readings show correct behaviour of the sensors, and correct transmission from the sensors to the engine management system (ECU). For more information, contact us at info@silvermine.nl  

MODELLING OF BODY STARTED

Cross sections of the body in the CAD design have been plotted en were cut from foam material. The resulting model at scale 1:5 serves as starting point for further development of the body. For more information, contact us at info@silvermine.nl  

MECHANICAL PART OF PROTOTYPE COMPLETED

The engine has been permanently installed, and all systems have been connected; also all sensors have been fitted. REAR FRAME ASSEMBLED

The rear sub-frame assembly has been mounted on the central structure by means of high-strength aluminium tubes, and mounting brackets for the wishbones and spring/damper units have been fitted.
